Who is Kwaku Ananse is a project aimed at bringing ANANSE back to
life and into our lives as a nation. The project intends to PERSONIFY
Ghana’s Famous folk hero ANANSE, remove him from the realm of
childhood imagination or mere spider, as his name connotes.
He will be portrayed as his very self. He will take center stage like
his contemporaries like SNOOPY, MICKY MOUSE, TOM & JERRY, ASTERIX,
SKIPPY, etc. in our countries.
We all know how these
characters have become popular worldwide through their exposure
in stories and cartoons. In other words, the project is aimed at
immortalizing and updating our own KWAKU ANANSE.
ANANSE
IN PAN AFRICANISM
For those who hold Africa as a homeland and a tourist destination,

could be a brilliant platform to further expose ANANSE to Ghana,

portray to them Ananse’s deeds through narratives enacted
by expert story tellers.

or visual presentation. Access to information on Ananse will be
displayed at a special Ananse Theme Park to be created (Phase Three),Hotel
